IMPORTANT CHANGES – Contented Petcare and Contented Canines Training School

Hi everyone!

IMPORTANT CHANGES – Contented Petcare and Contented Canines Training School

Happy New Year and I hope 2017 has got off to a good start for you!

To start off the New Year I have some big announcements for you regarding Contented PetCare as you know it.

I have been running Contented PetCare and Contented Canines Training School for 9 years this year and in this time thanks to the lovely people of Glossop and the High Peak the business has gone from strength to strength! What started off with just me has now expanded to include eight dog walkers, pet sitters and assistant dog trainers! I feel very lucky to be able to do this job, and I really love caring for and training your pets!

As the business expands it is essential to me that we continue to offer the same high quality, personal, professional and reliable services that we pride ourselves upon. In order for me to maintain these standards I have decided to transfer responsibility for some of our services to other trusted members of the team. This decision has been a long time in the making and has taken a lot of careful planning and reflection.

Firstly, as of January 2017 I will no longer be offering a home boarding service, and my pet sitter Debbie Currie will be taking charge. Debbie has been boarding dogs in her own home for me for 3 years now and is extremely popular. Debbie will now be taking bookings and dealing with clients directly, and will continue to offer the same high standard of service that she always has. Debbie has been approved for a boarding license from High Peak Borough Council, has full insurance to board dogs and has a clear police disclosure. I am confident that Debbie will do a fantastic job of continuing the boarding service, and she can be contacted on 07971 884427 or debbiejoc@hotmail.co.uk for any bookings.

Secondly, as of 22nd February my very good friend and ex colleague Kelly Hallworth will be taking charge of the cat and small animal sitting, under the new name of Peak Pet Sitters. Kelly and I first met over 10 years ago whilst working as nurses at Grove Vets in New Mills. Kelly is a fully qualified veterinary nurse who has many years of experience working at Victoria Veterinary Centre in Glossop. For several years Kelly has helped look after clients cats and small animals in their own homes alongside her nursing career and has now decided to make it a full time commitment.

I am delighted that Kelly has made this decision as I couldn’t think of a better person to take over the care of our much loved cat and small animal clients who I will greatly miss. Hopefully I will be able to pop in to see them now and then! Debbie, Fiona, Katherine and Emma will continue to work on behalf of Kelly looking after your pets and they will be sticking to the current routine and practices which work so well for our furry friends. There will be no major changes or disruption for you or your pets, and I will be continuing to support Kelly behind the scenes where necessary, although I can’t imagine she will need it!

Kelly would be delighted to take on any bookings that you have made with me for after the 22nd February. For your convenience and continuity I am happy to transfer all of the information that she will need about your pets in order to fulfil these and any future or potential bookings. She will also be contacting you directly to introduce herself and answer any questions that you may have for her. In the meantime please keep an eye out for her website www.peakpetsitters.co.uk, and like her Facebook page. You can also contact her for bookings on 07599 180121 or peakpetsitters@gmail.com.

I will continue to run the dog walking and training side of the business under the name Contented Canines Training School, and there will be no change at all to these services, which I will be actively concentrating on and expanding. I believe that this is the best decision for taking the business forward whilst still ensuring all of your service needs are met.

The full range of our services can be seen on our new website;

Thank you again for your continued and valued custom over the years, and for your support and understanding as I grow and move the business forward to its next exciting stage!

All the best,

Nicola.
